Olivia Gheur

Pogo Studio are delighted to have expanded the team welcoming a new Marketing and Accounts Intern – Olivia.

Tell us a bit about your background and how you ended up at Pogo Studio.

I recently graduated with a degree in English Literature and History of Art but I’ve always been interested in marketing, particularly social media marketing. I did an internship at an indie publisher helping with their marketing and social media and built a TikTok page for a friend of mine.

After graduating I was looking to gain some more experience and came across the internship at Pogo Studio and here I am!

What’s the best thing about the job so far?

I’m really enjoying the variety so far and like being able to do lots of different things. The team are also lovely!

What’s the most difficult thing about working for Pogo?

I think the earlier starts will take some getting used to, but nothing has been too difficult so far.

If you had a magic wand that could take you anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Probably Japan, I’d love to visit Kyoto or Tokyo. Or maybe somewhere warm and sunny where I can lie on a beach and read.

Complete this sentence: working in digital is…?

Creative and exciting! I like how things are always evolving.

If you could have a dinner party with three people (dead or alive) who would they be and why?

I love art and culture, so I'd love to have a conversation with Anna Wintour, Patti Smith and Jane Austen to hear about their experiences.

What’s your favourite book?

I love literary fiction and dystopian novels so probably I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman.

Finally – what’s your thoughts on an office pet?

I'd love one! An office cat would be the dream.
