Pogo goes to the ball!

Members of the Pogo team spent a very enjoyable evening last week at the St. Andrews Charity Ball, hosted by Chest Heart and Stoke Scotland.

The team gathered at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in Edinburgh, donning black tie and highland dress, in aid of the charity and the no life half lived campaign. The event featured a live auction, games and other fundraising efforts, and the team got the chance to hear about some of the fantastic work that Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland have been doing. We enjoyed a three-course meal serenaded by the world-famous red hot chilli pipers, followed by ceilidh dancing.

The ball was a great chance for the team to let down their hair and have a night off, and all for a great cause. It was especially moving to hear the stories of some of the inspirational stroke patients who have been helped by CHSS throughout their recovery.
